I felt like we were a bit behind on the tree this year. I guess it was just because we waited until after Maddie's birthday on the 4th to go get it. We made it out on the 5th to Shady Lane Greenhouse only to find three trees left! So, we went to a little place on the corner where we bought our wreath last year. This is the tree we picked. It took 2 minutes of looking and we found this perfect little round tree.
Maddie really liked the wreaths. I had already bought our wreath for the front door, so no wreaths that day.
That night I worked on putting all the decorations on, with the help of Connor and
Maddie. Tom even got in on the action this year by holding the paper clips for the ornaments that didn't have a hook. He was the paper clip holder. Actually, he carries in the tree and puts it in the stand, so I can't say that he doesn't help at all. Connor put the finishing touch on and wahlah, our Christmas tree!
