Tonight I sat on the roof with Connor. I love sitting on a roof. It isn't far away, but feels like you are so far from everyone and everything. Closer to the tops of the trees, the clouds, the stars. Connor always wants to sit out there and usually I don't do it. Tonight I am so thankful I did. We sat out there and talked about nothing really. We watched neighbors drive by, walk dogs, and shut everything down for the night. It was too cloudy to see the stars but we still looked at the sky. Before we went in Connor told me this could be our spot. Perfect.
